Carl Avery pulled away after a hard-fought battle with Leeds AC's Joe Firth, and back in-form Alex Brown of Houghton, to breast the tape in 14:28.
Holly Lawrence followed up her 3rd place at Blyth 10k to pick up another Bronze medal in a chip time of 17:46.
Further down the field George Lowry, another Nathan Shrubb-coached athlete, was 11th in 14:57, followed by Andrew Swinburne, who was 1st MV40 in 15:21.
Other Morpeth finishers were: Sam Hancox 31st in 15:29, Thomas Prentice 35th in 15:37, Oliver Tomlinson (u/20) 40th in 15:46 (PB), Connor Marshall 16:03, Lee Cuthbertson 16:12, Daniel Craig with a big breakthrough run of 16:59, James Higgin 17:16 (PB), new recruit Jack Walker 18:26, Jason Dawson ran a fine 18:32 for 3rd MV55, and Thomas Pattinson 18:39.
